Tsukimi Dango Dumpling for Moon Viewing Party

Ingredients: For 4 servings
10.5 oz. Dango Flour
7 oz. Water
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
2 tbsp. Mirin
2 tbsp. Sugar
1 tbsp. Starch
3.5 oz. Water


1. Put dango flour in a bowl and gradually add water and knead the dough with your hand until it is the texture of an earlobe.
2. Boil generous quantity of water in a pot.
3. Make the dough into small balls and boil them in a pot (Step.2) for about 3 minutes until they float.
4. Soak dumplings into water to make it cool and drain them.
5. Put water, soy sauce, mirin, sugar in a pan and boil to make sweet soy sauce. Mix starch with water and gradually add into a pan and stir until thickened.
6. Arrange the dumplings on a plate and pour sweet soy sauce over them.
