Mixed Mushroom Rice

Ingredients: For 4 servings
3 cups Rice
3 Shiitake Mushroom
1/2 pack Shimeji Mushroom
1/2 pack Maitake Mushroom
1/2 pack Enoki Mushroom
1/3 Gobo (Burdock)
1/2 Carrot
Snow Peas
1.7 oz. Chicken Breast
1 Deep-Fried Tofu
1/4 Konnyaku
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
2 tbsp. Sake
1.5 tbsp. Mirin
1 tbsp. Powder Soup Stock


1. Wash the rice about 30 minutes before you cook.
2. Lightly shave the gobo skin and cut into thin slivers. Cut carrot into thin slivers. Rinse mushrooms, konnyaku briefly and cut into bite size. Cut deep-fried tofu in half and cut into thin slices.
3. Boil snow peas and cut into 0.2" portions.
4. Put rice, water (for 2.5 cups), soy sauce, sake, mirin, powder soup stock into a rice cooker (or a pot) and mix together. Add mushrooms, gobo, carrot, konnyaku, deep-fried tofu and cook.
5. When the rice is done, sprinkle snow peas and enjoy!
