The masters of renowned shops performed their culinary magic!
Discover the finest gourmet foods of Kyushu & Okinawa, Japan.
The Japanese style well-known ramen "Tonkotsu Ramen" of "Ramen Tatsuno-ya",
made its first appearance at Torrance Store and New Jersey Store.
The essence of Tatsuno-ya ramen is rich yet mild broth called "Tonkotsu soup" made only from tonkotsu and water.
We hope you could experience this splendidly rich and mild taste of soup and their home made noodles distinguish the Ramen Tatsuno-ya from other Japanese style ramen.
Secondly, "Pie Fresh Custard Pudding on Choux" of "Kikuya" in Oita.
The Kikuya's original sweets use fresh ingredients only grown in Yufuin, Oita, Japan
to express their hospitality and generosity.
The pudding with slightly bitter taste of caramel and flaky piecrust is in perfect harmony.
Next, "Mackerel Sushi" from "Hiranoya" & "Kazuya".
We hope you could fully enjoy the fine tasty mackerel grown in the sea around Goto Islands in Nagasaki, southern Japan.
Finally, "Mentaiko (Salted cod roe)" from Kanefuku was sold by weight.
"Mentaiko" is spicy eggs and is a common ingredient in Japanese cuisine.
Fukuoka, in the southern island of Kyushu, is the mentaiko capital of Japan.
Kanefuku based in Fukuoka is one of the largest producers of Mentaiko.
How did you like freshly baked “Sata Andagi”?
The best sweet of Okinawan went over quite well. You could have your choice of flavors as in plain, chocolate, banana, and beni imo.
In addition, more special items from various regions of Kyusyu waited for you.
“Nagasaki Sara Udon” of “Yamachan”, and Chinsuko, small biscuit, is a traditional sweet often sold as a souvenir in Okinawa, Japan, and much more!
