Simmered Chicken Wings and Daikon Radish

Ingredients: For 4 servings
8 pcs. Chicken wings
1/2 Daikon Radish
1/2 Konjac
1/3 bunch Garland Chrysanthemum
1 Kelp (2” x 2”)
4 pcs. Ginger (thin slices)
2 tbs. Soy Sauce
3 tbs. Sake
4 tbs. Mirin
1/2 tsp. Salt

Preparation

1. Boil konjac and make cuts on the surface, then cut into 8 equal portions.
2. Peer daikon and cut into 1” half-moon slices.
3. Cut garland chrysanthemum into 2” portions.
4. Heat a pot without cooking oil and put chicken wings into the pot until delicately browned.
5. Add 4 cups of water, kelp, ginger, and daikon then place a small lid directly on the food and cook over medium heat until it is boiled. Skim the scum and cook for 20 minutes over low heat.
6. Add konjac and sake , mirin and cook 10 minutes, then add salt and soy sauce and cook 10 minutes more.
7. Add garland chrysanthemum and cook briefly. Enjoy!!
