Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients: For 4 servings
8 leaves Cabbage
0.5 lb. ground Beef and Pork
1 Onion
2 tbs. Bread Crumbs
1 Egg
1 can Whole Tomato
2 tbs. Milk
2 cups Water
1 cube Soup Stock
2 tbs. Ketchup
1 leaf Bay Leaf
2 tbs. Sugar
Salt & Pepper as needed


1. carefully pull off the cabbage leaves. Boil them to soften and drain well. Trim the center vein of the cabbage.
2. Chop onion and sauté until golden brown.
3. Put ground beef and pork, onion, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well and divide into 8 equal portions.
4. Place a portion on a cabbage leaf and roll up.
5. Place cabbage rolls in a pan and add water, soup stock, bay leaf, whole tomato, ketchup, and sugar and simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
6. Salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
