Gooey Stamina Noodle

Ingredients: For 4 servings
14 oz. Somen
8 pcs. Okura
3.5 oz. Yam
2 packs Natto
1 pack Mekabu
1 cup Soup Stock
1 tbs. Mirin
1 tbs. Salt
3 tbs. Soy Sauce
White Sesame as needed
Dried Bonito as needed


1. Boil somen in a generous quantity of hot water.
2. Boil okura and cut into thin round slices. Cut yam into rectangles, wrap in plastic wrap and pound with a rolling pin.
3. Mix okura, yam, natto, and mekabu together in a bowl.
4. Put soup stock, mirin, salt, soy sauce in a pot and boil.
5. Arrange somen in a bowl and top with (Step. 3) and pour soup.
6. Put dried bonito on top and sprinkle white sesame and enjoy!
