Asparaburg (Hamburg Steak with Asparagus)

Ingredients

Ingredients: For 4 servings
1 bunch Asparagus
0.7 lb. ground Beef and Pork
1/2 Onion
0.4 lb Lotus Root
2 tbs. Milk
1 Egg
1/2 pack Tofu
1/3 shredded Daikon Radish
2 tbs. Mirin
1 cup Soup Stock
3 tbs. Soy Sauce
1 tbs. Vinegar
Flour as needed
Salt & Pepper as needed
Olive Oil as needed

Preparation

1. Cut off the thick end of each spear and cut into 0.5" portions then dredge in flour. Chop onion and lotus root finely, drain off the tofu well.
2. Put ground beef and pork in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Mix the meat with hands well.
3. Add chopped onion, lotus root, asparagus, tofu and mix well. Make four hamburger patties and indent the center of each one with finger.
4. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook hamburgers over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Turn over and cook the other side fir 5 minutes.
5. Put shredded daikon radish, mirin, soup stock, soy sauce, and vinegar in a pot and heat lightly.
6. Pour the sauce (Step. 5) over the hamburg.
7. Garnish your favorite vegetables, then enjoy!
